Case Study - Kurvenbalance
Kurvenbalance is a sport bike training service founded by Samuel Engel, based in Germany. Samuel wanted to establish a strong online presence to promote his training programs and showcase his expertise. The goal was to create a modern, sporty website that not only reflected the energy of motorcycle training but also provided visitors with essential information about services, training formats, and pricing.

Design and Concept
Approach
To reflect Samuel’s personal brand, I focused on creating a clean yet sporty design with carefully chosen colors that matched the theme of motorcycle training. We began by finalizing the color palette, then designed a custom logo and icons, ensuring consistency across all branding elements. Each page was thoughtfully designed to maintain this branding while delivering an engaging user experience.
Result
The website, developed using WordPress and Elementor, combined clean navigation with a dynamic look. I integrated Swiper JS for interactive sliders, giving the site a modern and energetic feel. Visitors can easily explore training formats, pricing, and contact details. Overall, the website’s sleek and sporty design reinforced the professionalism of Kurvenbalance, while also creating a sense of excitement and trust.
Logo Design
The client shared some reference ideas for the logo, which guided the creative direction. After several iterations, we finalized a logo that reflects the sporty and energetic identity of Kurvenbalance while keeping it professional. In addition, I designed custom icons to highlight training formats and services, adding both clarity and visual appeal to the website.
Special Features and Sections
Trainingsformate (Training / Services)
To showcase Samuel’s different training formats, I implemented Swiper JS with a mouse wheel effect. When visitors scroll to this section, the page “locks” and smoothly transitions through each slide, one by one. On mobile, this feature was optimized to slide horizontally for a seamless experience.
JotForms Integration
The client needed a robust booking form with conditional logic, so I recommended JotForm for its flexibility and affordability. I set up the form with all required fields and conditions, then embedded it directly on the booking page. This allowed Kurvenbalance to streamline client inquiries and bookings effectively.
Video Backgrounds
Samuel wanted video backgrounds on key pages to create a sporty, immersive feel, even if it meant slightly longer load times. To balance design and performance, I compressed and optimized the videos before uploading, ensuring smooth playback without compromising too much on speed.
